Overview

My dad has had no interest in cars, but loved the Granada, especially the Scorpio, described by Clarkson as a ‘gopping hideous monstrosity’. He found a low-mileage Ultima with hail damage. This was my first mild resto job, just bodywork and powder coating the suspension, etc. The only subtle mod was blacking out the front grille. I handed the car back on his birthday, but unfortunately within a few months he had a heart attack and two strokes, and never got to drive it.
